We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused Logistics & Moves Assistant to join our busy Logistics team. This team aims to provide a professional and cost-efficient logistics and distribution service to the University. This is a varied role and involves working as part of a team to deliver an efficient and professional service to our customers which is vital in contributing to the smooth operation of the University.
The Role
Reporting to the Logistics & Moves Team Leader, your key responsibilities will involve a wide variety of tasks, including removals for staff undertaking office moves, deliveries across the sites in Canterbury and the setting up of furniture in preparation for Conferences. In addition, you will carry out a range of general duties such as cover for Goods Inwards and processing of incoming/outgoing mail. You will be expected to maintain a positive attitude and helpful service across the University.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be able to provide high levels of helpful customer service, with a positive and inclusive approach. The ability to perform well as a team or during individual tasks is essential.
