Overview
An exceptional and modern Chartered Accountants is on the lookout for a NEW Accounts Senior to join their team. They are well-established and pride themselves on offering genuine career paths and future opportunities for anyone that joins! This role offers the chance to work in an innovative B-Corp aligned firm that values sustainability, client care, and personal development.
This role is Monday-Friday 37.5hrs with a hybrid working structure.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
• Manage a portfolio of clients comprising individuals and owner-managed businesses
• Prepare accounts for companies, partnerships, LLPs, and sole traders
• Prepare corporation, partnership, and personal tax returns and computations
• Review VAT returns and advise clients accordingly
• Ensure the smooth implementation of client work and effective workflow within the team
• Arrange and lead planning meetings to maximise efficiency of resources
• Monitor work progress, liaising with clients and stakeholders to provide timely updates
• Review the work of semi-seniors and assistants, providing training, support, and constructive feedback
• Research and resolve technical issues for more complex or high-risk clients
• Support business development through networking, meeting attendance, and cross-referrals
• Act as a key point of contact for offshoring resource where required
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate strong prior UK Practice experience with exposure to similar duties named above and ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified.
