Overview
An exceptional and modern Chartered Accountants is on the lookout for a NEW Audit Senior to join their Chichester office. This role is Monday-Friday 37.5hrs with a hybrid working structure.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery to time, budget, and quality standards
Prepare audit work, delegate tasks appropriately, and review work completed by Semi-Seniors and Assistants
Monitor workflow and maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders
Research and resolve audit issues, escalating more complex matters where required
Prepare audit completion documentation, including Going Concern assessments and KAF files
Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members, providing ongoing feedback and guidance
Maintain audit administration including accurate APS workflow updates and ensuring all compliance requirements are met (AML, KYC, engagement letters)
Act as a key point of contact for clients during fieldwork, maintaining proactive communication throughout the year
Attend client meetings including planning, review, and close-down sessions
Support the Audit team in business development activities such as networking, contributing to pitches, and supporting cross-referral opportunities across the firm

What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate strong prior UK Practice experience with exposure to duties named above and ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong background in a similar position.
