Production Operative

Salary: £26,277.50 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm
Location: Paddock Wood

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operator to join a busy and well-established manufacturing environment in Paddock Wood.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills within a supportive team. Full training will be provided, with excellent opportunities for career progression and further development.

The Role

As a Production Operator, your responsibilities will include:

- Labelling, packing and preparing products for dispatch
- Working to production and dispatch schedules
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
- Following Health & Safety procedures and reporting any issues
- Working in line with quality and operating procedures
- Supporting waste reduction initiatives
- Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards
- Contributing ideas and feedback to improve day-to-day processes
- Working effectively as part of a team while also taking responsibility for your own workload

Candidate Profile

- Previous manufacturing/production experience
- Forklift licence/experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
- Hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic
- Comfortable working in a busy, hands-on environment
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable carrying out physically demanding tasks
- Numerate and literate with good basic IT skills
