Are you an organised and proactive administrator who wants to make a real difference in students’ lives?
Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems with creativity and attention to detail? Are you passionate about supporting learners with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?

The Learning Support Department at North Kent College is undergoing an exciting transformation as we enhance the support we provide to students with SEND and Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs). As part of this journey, we are expanding our experienced Administration Team and are recruiting two Learning Support Administrators.

About the role

Based at either our Hadlow or Gravesend campus, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality learning support services.
We are looking for positive, resilient, and forward-thinking individuals with:
• Proven experience using computer systems effectively in an administrative role
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and literacy skills

While experience in Further Education or the post 16 sector is desirable, we welcome applicants from a wide range of administrative backgrounds.

Working pattern

• Hadlow: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week (3 days), 36 weeks per year (term-time only)

Please state in your personal statement which campus(es) you are willing to work at.

The Role:

Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Hadlow or Gravesend campus.
Your hours: 22.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per annum (Full Time, Term Time).
Your pay: £10,855.47 per annum + £2,025.69 holiday pay (£25,856 Full Time Equivalent).

The College:

North Kent College (including Hadlow College) is proudly rated as an Ofsted ‘Good’ provider, with ‘Outstanding’ learner behaviours and attitudes (April 2024). With four campuses across Kent (Dartford, Gravesend, Hadlow and Tonbridge) and over 6,000 students, we strive to equip the young people who study here with an inclusive and innovative education experience to enhance their future career prospects, which, as noted by Ofsted, is supported through our high-quality, industry standard facilities. Each and every staff member plays a key part in delivering the success of our learners’ experience, and we want those who join our curriculum and support teams to share our passion in achieving this.

The Benefits:

In addition to a competitive salary, you can expect the following as Learning Support Administrator at NKC:

How to Apply:

If this sounds like the next role for you, please visit the North Kent College staff vacancies page to see the full job description and apply.
Please note that the closing date for applications is Monday 22nd June, with interviews scheduled to take place on Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd July 2026.
