Benenden School are looking to recruit friendly and reliable people to join our Domestic Department. No experience is required as you will be given full training, however you must be efficient and organised. We are looking for applicants interested in two current vacancies:
Housekeeper
Main duties are the general cleaning of all areas of the Boarding Houses, and around the School, using established cleaning techniques to ensure a clean and tidy environment always.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, daily, 8:45am to 2:45pm. All Year Round (Please note this is not a term time only position), a total of 27.5 hours per week.
Salary: £18,248.23 per annum
Applicants for should have the ability to work well as part of a team and on their own initiative, as well as having a great sense humour. We want to attract, retain, and develop diverse talent at all levels, so that we are a great school, but also so that our students feel and understand the power and depth of a diverse community.
About Benenden School
Benenden has been one of the leading day and boarding schools in Britain for more than 100 years. We were founded in 1923 and are situated in 250 acres of attractive parkland in Kent. There are 550 girls in the school, aged 11-18, with approximately 190 of those in the Sixth Form.
Staff are provided with meals whilst on duty. The School’s leisure facilities, including wonderful grounds, a fitness gym and swimming pool are also free for staff to use, when available.
