Sharing your knowledge to unlock potential whilst guiding our learners through their studies, you’ll work as part of the curriculum team to create and deliver lessons across a range of qualification levels, inspiring achievement and the best possible outcomes. The successful candidate will be a team player, an excellent communicator, and able to maintain a proactive approach to managing deadlines, whilst retaining a high standard of delivery.

 

The Media department has courses ranging from Level 2 to Level 4 and has three main pathways: Digital Journalism, Content Creation and TV and Film. Lecturers utilise our excellent facilities including equipment store comprising of a range of camera, lighting and sound equipment as well as two sound suites, used for podcasting and radio broadcast, as well as two video production studios to ensure our learners are industry ready.

 

We are currently looking for the ideal candidate to bring industry knowledge and practical experience to the Level 3 Content Creation, Digital Journalism and Level 4 courses within the Media department. These pathways focus on creating purposeful, multimedia content for various platforms to engage different audiences – such as marketing and factual narratives - as well as developing technical and practical skills in using various equipment and software.

 

The Role:

 

Where you’ll work: This role is based at our Dartford campus.

 

Your hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE)

 

Your pay: £35,862 to £44,121 per annum full time equivalent, dependent on qualifications and experience.



Your Contract: This is a 1 year Fixed Term contract for 25/26 academic year
