A fantastic opportunity to work for an award-winning social housing organisation to join their expanding repairs service delivery team. This is a permanent role based in Teddington which is 5 days a week in the office, so candidates will need to be within a reasonable commute. The role is to be their lead in identifying, liaising and managing the subcontractor partner to ensure a safe, compliant and efficient cost-effective solution to specialist works as part of their contract for response and void repairs.
Your new role
Your new role will be to analyse data reports and closely manage KPIs and identify solutions for a more effective process. You will ensure job-related information is up-to-date on the system and regularly use data and reporting by updating schedules which will be ever-changing. You will manage a team of 30 subcontractors and engineers across a range of properties in SW London, and be able to run monthly meetings to update on the progress of works. You will be able to influence and manage a small team, ensuring compliance, health and safety and risk assessments are in place and the commercial elements are adhered to whilst building strong relationships with the subcontractors.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will ideally have to work in social housing repairs and voids in a similar role, such as Resource Scheduler, Planner or Works Controller. You will be able to handle a busy and changeable schedule and work with stakeholders. Experience dealing with organising repairs in a high volume and busy environment is imperative and candidates will need to live within a reasonable commute to Teddington to be considered.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a generous salary of £38,455 per annum, with a 36-hour a week contract within standard office hours Monday to Friday, generous annual leave of 29 days per annum plus bank holidays, you will have £30 a month contributed towards your well-being by the organisation, a sign of the care they provide to the team.
