Overview
A well-established and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking a new Senior Accountant to join their Chatham office. Set up over 20 years ago and with growth plans in the future, to join now is an excellent chance to build a career with an expanding company.
This role is full-time Monday-Friday.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties
Prepare year-end accounts for a range of SME clients
Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
Provide strategic financial advice and tax planning support
Oversee bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support junior team members with training and development
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies as needed

What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this role will have solid UK practice experience and live within a reasonable commute. Strong candidates qualified by experience can also be considered for this role.
