An excellent opportunity for a Research Associate in Sleep and Mental Health to join an award-winning team contributing to a new programme grant funded by the Wellcome Trust, ‘Sleep and circadian health disturbances in psychosis and depression: the cascading impacts of impairments in cognitive control.’ A summary of the project can be found here: https://wellcome.org/grant-funding/people-and-projects/grants-awarded/sleep-and-circadian-health-disturbances-psychosis
Working under the supervision of Professor Teresa C. D’Oliveira, the Research Associate in Sleep and Mental Health will support key activities of the project. Main duties include organising research activities, coordinating ethical approval, piloting stages of the project, leading in participant recruitment, analysing wearables data, disseminating research and contributing to creative outputs.
The successful applicant will hold a PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology or a related subject. Candidates in the final stages of completing their degree are encouraged to apply provided they can provide a reference attesting that their PhD viva will be held by the start date of this role.

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible. This role is based on our North Holmes Campus in Canterbury and will include some off-site travel.
Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the service being delivered and to the needs of the research team, the project activities, and stakeholders. It is expected that most of your working time will be spent on campus.
