Background of department/role

We are seeking applicants for the post of Work Based Learning Administrator to provide high quality administrative support within the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Social Care and the coordination of practice and work-based learning experiences for students.

The successful post holder will be positive, self-motivated and approachable. As a Work Based Learning Administrator you will play a key role in the organisation and facilitation of work and practice-based placements for our students across a number of diverse Health and Social Care courses.

You will have the ability to establish and maintain productive, professional relationships with academic colleagues and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining integrity and values congruent with those of the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Social Care.

You will need GCSE A-C or equivalent in English with recent administration experience. The post holder will need to demonstrate the ability to adapt to work under pressure, with flexibility in responding to changing priorities.

How will you work?

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role is hybrid. Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
