Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge? Do you want to make a positive difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? If yes, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for a 121 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team at a Primary school in Ashford, Kent. You will be working with a child who has complex needs and requires one-to-one support in and out of the classroom. You will help them access the curriculum, develop their social skills, and foster their independence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:

* A minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
* Experience of working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting
* Knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and relevant strategies and interventions
* A positive, patient, and flexible attitude
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

This is a long-term role starting from September 2023 and lasting until the end of the academic year. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm. The pay rate is £75 to £85 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
