Our national care client is recruiting a brand new regional L&D role to be based across Sussex to cover 7 locations including Eastbourne, Horsham, East Grinstead, Bexhill, Peacehaven and Polgate. Established in 2011, they have grown rapidly over the last few years and are continuing to expand and improve the business in all areas. The role is a 9 month FTC as the project is still going through the trial period, there is opportunity for this to be extended or made permanent.
Your new role
As a L&D Specialist, you will join the organisation for a 9 month FTC to support a brand new project; they are currently in the process of improving their onboarding process and one of the elements are to hold a 3 day induction to care workers to increase retention & the care of their residents. You will be an extra pair of hands to support with this improvement process and to roll out the new training programme.
Due to the nature of the role, you will be office based 3 days a week to carry out the face to face training then have 2 days working from home.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in the role, you must have learning and development/training experience within the public sector, most specifically within social care, NHS or similar industry. You must be able to join the team and hit the ground running as the project has already began. You must also have a UK valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle as sites aren't easily accessible by public transport.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary of £30,000 plus £3,000 car allowance.
