My client, an innovative Thanet based business is seeking to appoint a Financial Controller to join them at an exciting period of growth. 

A manufacturing business, they work with a range of suppliers to create unique products for an ever evolving marketplace.  Fresh thinking is always required as well as a passion for the business and its diverse client base.

An owner managed SME business with a key focus on the growth and development of its people, they are looking for a passionate individual to join them and become a key member of their management team.  This role has real potential to develop into a fantastic FD position in the short to medium term and offers clear progression for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Be a key member of the leadership team
- Clearly prepare and present salient management information for the Owners
- Preparation of management accounts
- Cashflow forecasting
- System/process development
- Ad-hoc queries on accounts/budget
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Identification of risks and opportunities
- Working closely with external advisors/internal management/board
- Key message on the accounts/budgets/ variance analysis
- Day to day involvement in the year end process

This position would be best suited to a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) with previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of manufacturing/ FMCG sectors is advantageous.
