Senior Qs - Large Housebuilder/Contractor, North Kent, Permanent role - 100 unit scheme £Excellent/Competitive

A Major player in the residential sector across the South East now seek an Experienced Senior QS to strengthen the team on upcoming flagship scheme in the Medway area. Project is a 150 unit mixed use schemes due on site in the coming months. RC frame construction with a value of Approx £30 mill. Already one of the Regions largest and most profitable housebuilders they have ambitious expansion plans with several similar sized projects due on site by Summer.
Your new role
As Senior QS you will be Commercial lead for the project reporting to the Commercial Director, You will be site based in North Kent working closely with the Project manager and assistant Qs overseeing all financial decisions. You will be comfortable liaising with clients, managing of subcontract packages from tender stage procurement to ï¬nal account's, Agreeing payments, Addressing variations, monthly CVR reporting and generally ensuring commercial rigour on site.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Stand alone Senior QS comfortable managing larger Residential or commercial schemes, You will have overseen projects from preconstruction through to completion including 278 works and access roads. You will come from either a housing developer or main contracting background and be looking for permanent work in the Kent area. This is a live role with an anticipated start of immediate to 6 weeks depending on notice periods.
