Accounts Assistant (12month contract) | Maidstone – Hybrid | £25-30K
An international business requires an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 12 month contract basis. The companies’ offices are based in the Maidstone area and offer Hybrid working with up to 3 days working from home.
The main responsibilities include:-
• Accounts receivable duties
• Credit control
• Accounts payable duties
• Processing bank entries and reconciliation of bank accounts on a weekly and monthly basis
• Working closely with colleagues based in Belgium and France with travel to the businesses on occasions
• Administration of VAT, including the preparation of VAT Returns,
• Assisting with the production of Corporation Tax computations and Returns,
You will:-
• Have excellent Excel skills
• Have excellent communication skills
• The ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Be committed to a fixed term contract
• Available at short notice
