Accounts Semi-Senior | Medway – Office based | Up to £35K
We are currently working with an accountancy practice based in Medway for an Accounts Semi Senior. The role will be office based, however Hybrid maybe considered after successful completion of probation period.

The client portfolio is mixed in various sectors and locations, some travel to clients may be required, to various parts of Kent and attendance at meetings in our London office for those clients not based locally.

The role will involve:
• To prepare statutory accounts for Limited Companies, including Corporation Tax Computations and CT600’s. To prepare accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships together with the relevant Income Tax computations.
• To prepare or assist in the preparation of Management Accounts on a routine basis for a number of clients, together with Cash Flow Forecasts and budgets.
• To assist in book-keeping for clients, completion of VAT returns, review of VAT returns where client has done their own bookkeeping and to review the VAT returns prepared by more junior members of staff
• To assist both members of staff and clients with bookkeeping and VAT return queries
• To assist in the supervision and training of junior members of staff.

What you will need:
• Numerate
• Good technical skills
• Experience of Word, Excel, Quickbooks online, Xero
• Experience of CCH accounts production/Corporation tax would be useful but not essential
• Good communicator, especially with clients and colleagues
• A team player
• Be able to use own initiative and be proactive
• Have a full driving licence and access to vehicle.
