Accounts Senior | Medway – Office based | £40k - £45k DOE
We are currently working with an accountancy practice based in Medway for an Accounts Senior. The role will be office based, however Hybrid maybe considered after successful completion of probation period.
The client portfolio is mixed in various sectors and locations, some travel to clients may be required, to various parts of Kent and attendance at meetings in our London office for those clients not based locally.
The role will involve:
• Preparation of accounts for both incorporated and unincorporated businesses
• Corporation Tax computations and CT600
• Income Tax Computations
• Preparation of Management accounts
• Preparation of Cashflow forecasts
• Review of junior members work - VAT returns, accounts etc
What you will need:
• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
• Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA qualified, however they will consider QBE candidates
• Experience in reviewing junior member of staff work prior to submitting to the partners
• Accounts preparation to finalisation stage
• Knowledge or experience with disclosures in accounts
• You will be an effective communicator with the ability to talk with finance and non financial clients
