Purpose of the job
* To provide an effective financial planning, management, and advisory service, enabling the Movement to make best use of its financial resources and comply with statutory requirements. This particularly to focus upon identifying and implementing systems and process improvements to improve efficiency both in terms of cost and timeliness of activities, and to empower budget-holders to actively manage the finances for their department.
* To lead the operational activities of the Finance team in the management, control, and planning of the Movement's finances, under the oversight of the Director of Finance and Services to ensure that a high quality and effective service is provided to the Movement.
The key performance indicators for this job are:
* Feedback on enabling client's mission activity.
* Management and statutory financial reports and internal/external audit findings.
* Staff performance, staff turnover and staff survey results.
* IT/technical systems availability, data security and user satisfaction.
* Completion of major projects in line with scope, time, quality, and cost requirements.
