SEASONAL – Customer Service Agents (Passenger) in Folkestone (United Kingdom (GB)
Indefinite (Short-Term) Salary circa £24,743 plus shift pay

Eurotunnel manages, maintains, and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third-party passenger and rail freight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency, and respect for the environment.
In 2020, thanks to rigorous management and strong commitment from our teams, Getlink delivered a solid operational and financial performance, in an exceptional context marked by the Covid crisis and Brexit. Eurotunnel is seeking highly motivated Customer Service Agents to work during our busy summer period on our Passenger service. Our Customer Service Agents work on a 24/7 shift basis within the Customer Service Division, delivering excellent customer service to passengers using our services.
This role will interest you if you are passionate about working with a dedicated team, committed to offering a high quality of service to our customers, excellent communication skills and have previous experience of working in a customer facing role, within a fast paced environment.
Skills and Requirements:
A good standard of literacy and numeracy.
A valid Driving Licence is desirable.
Competence in Microsoft Office, Outlook, web-tools and phone based apps.
Excellent customer service skills.
Autonomous and ability to use own initiative.
Punctual, reliable and flexible (to meet operational needs and demands).
In accordance with the Working Time Regulations Act 1998 these roles are open to individuals aged 18 years and over, at the time of taking up appointment, this is due to shift working requirements.
