Business Analyst | Canterbury/Hybrid | £35k - £45k DOE
We are working with a client based in the Canterbury area who is looking for a Business Analyst. This role is a newly created role that can be flexible, and they are looking for someone to grow within the position whilst helping to streamline the business. This would suit someone with very strong IT skills ideally from a manufacturing, FMCG type background who have knowledge of pricing, margins etc. The first part of the role will be a lot of Excel work but you will be in charge of changing this, implementing systems looking at costs, prices etc.
The client is willing to offer Hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
Main things this role will cover is
• Streamlining and redesigning company processes and procedures
• Improving the organisations efficiencies and identifying opportunities for analytics, reporting automation
• IT System implementation and improvements
• Analysis of financial and non-financial data
• Supporting BI development
• Analysing of raw data to aid decision making
• Analysing reports and data to gain impactful insight
Candidate skill set
• IT & Systems including implementation – Fix teething problems, resolve user problems etc
• Improving processes and procedures
• Commercial
• Financial Controls
• Ideally from a manufacturing or FMCG type background
