This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of an innovative and ground-breaking service using whole family approaches to tackle unemployment.

We know that sometimes, the ability to work is frustrated by lots of complex issues. We know that being employed is linked to many positive outcomes for parents and their children. We also know that tackling the barriers and disadvantages that some unemployed parents face, will require some skilled and intensive support to overcome.

Do you have what it takes to make a real difference to the lives of families facing multiple challenges? Do you have a professional background that gives you the knowledge to work with families for maximum impact? Do you have wide ranging, and diverse skills gained through experience of working with families in challenging circumstances?

Do you understand the barriers to employment and have creative ideas to overcome these? Most importantly, do you have the personal skills and values to be creative and resilient in engaging families, to offer practical focused support and challenge and at all times, to ‘think family’.

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint a number of Intensive Family Caseworkers for the brand new Salus Employment Service.

While your background may be in social work, youth work, housing, employment, community development or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively, innovatively, and respectfully to achieve change.

Multiple roles across Thanet & Canterbury. Fixed term until 1st July 2022.
