As a family run home, we offer a friendly and comfortable place of residence and provide compassionate care you would expect from a member of your own family. A relaxed, friendly atmosphere is the first thing you will notice when you visit Littlebourne House. We are a residential care home specialising in elderly care and Dementia. The majority of our residents live here on a permanent basis but we also offer respite care. We are currently recruiting for a Cook to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
To prepare and cook main meals for lunch time, to a high standard as per the menu and in accordance with all legislative requirements such as Health and Safety at Work and hygiene regulations.
To be aware of residents' dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests in respect of the menu.
To ensure the kitchen is cleaned at the end of each shift to a professional standard and ensuring kitchen audit check has been completed.
Skills/ Requirements
Previous catering experience within a similar environment preferably.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
