This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an accountancy practice where you will work towards highly regarded professional qualifications, whilst at the same time earning and establishing a long-term career.

As a trainee accountant you will learn about taxation, book-keeping and accounts preparation. You will deal with businesses of all sizes and build an understanding of how businesses operate.

The successful candidate will receive ongoing training both internally and with external training providers.

The successful candidate will need to have the following minimum qualifications:

• Five GCSEs including grade A (minimum level7) at mathematics and grade B (minimum level 6) at English.
• Ideally 3 A levels or equivalent.

Starting salary will be £12,000.

In addition, after 3 months you will be able to join the company's pension scheme.

The successful candidate will commence the AAT qualification in year 1 with a view to potentially training to become a Chartered Accountant.
