Pilgrims Hospices is seeking an experienced Volunteer Services Manager to lead the development of our volunteer offering to support our key objectives and charitable goals.
As the Volunteer Services Manager you will be responsible for developing strategies and processes to promote volunteer recruitment and retention and ensure that all volunteer operations are carried out to the highest standards.
The successful applicant will possess experience of volunteer management, preferably for a charity or third sector organisation. Candidates should also possess a detailed understanding of policies, procedures and legal obligations relating to management of a volunteer workforce. Strong organisational and motivational skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate comprehensively with staff and volunteers at all levels.
