My client a well respected and excellent employee is looking for an individual with a proven track record of overseeing and delivering projects.
The IT Workstream Lead (WSL) is responsible for the management of all aspects of the IT function’s contribution into the Bank’s Transformation Programme; including but not limited to:
.organising resources and tasks,
.managing (internal) customer interface and expectations.
The WSL will employ project, service and technical management capabilities to ensure that IT’s contribution is holistic and well thought out and provides the foundations for a successful future service model.
The WSL will provide leadership through a matrix resourced structure to create a strong performance driven and customer focused culture, feeding back improvements to the various matrixed engineering functions within the IT organisation as required.
Has led others in the delivery of projects from inception to completion
Has managed the complete project cycle of a number of IT projects
Experience of IT service management across the service life cycle (end-to-end)
Experience in continuous process improvement and implementation of quality standards for software development processes
Demonstrated expertise in project-management methodology, including life cycles, phase gates, governance, and effective sponsorship
Experience of advanced program-management concepts (e.g., resource planning, reporting, prioritisation, and trade-offs)
Prince 2 preferably
Educated to a high standard essential
