Our client is a globally recognised leader in their field. They are a well-known local manufacturer, but form part of a worldwide enterprise,

They are now looking for someone who can provide expert advice and support on all Occupational Health & Safety matters within their business.

With a focus on developing the H&S Hazard and Risk Assessment, your role will be to advise on safeguards to ensure risks are reduced as low as practicable.This will include:

* Leading discussions with the Competent Authorities including the HSE and local government
* Monitoring and maintaining H&S Key Performance Indicators
* Co-ordinating emergency response, incident investigation, incident reporting and root-cause analysis
* Internal consultation, audits, safety inspections and management of change procedures
The person

* A minimum of NEBOSH National General Certificate and experience in a high hazard/chemical/COMAH based manufacturing site
* Experience working with the HSE, Local Authority, Certification bodies and Consultants
* Familiarity with the H&S Management Systems OHSAS 18001/ISO45001

* You'll be delivering H&S training packages so excellent communication skills are key
