Hays Recruitment are recruiting for a Skilled Assembly Operative for our client based in Dartford. This is a Temp to perm Position for the successful candidate.
Pay rate - £11.62 per hour + huge range of benefits.
Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm shift.
Duties include:
* A good understanding of electrical specifications and the ability to understand electrical schematic diagrams.
* Familiar with basic assembly techniques. (including: anti-static awareness, soldering, crimping, spiral wrapping)
* Versatile to use a range of hand tools - drilling, tapping, etc
* Have a working knowledge of creating wiring harnesses from a schematic.
* Willing to learn new assembly techniques using a variety of equipment.
* Practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Good problem-solving and team-working skills. Also, be able to work under your own initiative.
