Sales Ledger Clerk
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk to join the Accounts team.
The successful candidate will be joining a business which has continued to grow and exceed expectations even during these uncertain times.
You will be experienced within the Sales Ledger function and have a very high attention to detail. Due to the nature of this business it is extremely important that all invoices and receipts are double checked ensuring perfect accuracy.
This role will suit someone who has not only gained experienced with Accounts Receivable but has also knowledge of data entry.
Setting up new clients
Entering Sales Orders
Producing Sales Invoices
Ensuring correct VAT rate for each Sales Invoice as this can be variable – normal, Exempt & 5%
Banking and reconciliation
Dealing with any customers queries
Dealing with our excel tracker and providing support during holiday periods
Credit Control ensuring prompt payment of outstanding debts
Escalating any issues to Accounts Manager
Monthly review of the Aged Debtors with Accounts Manager
• Relevant Sales Ledger experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, team focussed attitude
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of an Accountancy Software package. Sage 200 preferred
• Strong organisational skills
• An analytical mind
SALARY £20,000 - £21,000 Depending on experience.
