Various hours contracts are available for additional Matrons to join the Matron team as soon as possible. At King’s we pride ourselves in offering a supportive, nurturing and pastorally secure environment for all our pupils. Matrons support the Housemaster/mistress in the personal
development of every pupil in the house. The successful applicants will need to have experience of working with young people and to be well-organised and caring in their approach. They will have plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Good IT skills are essential.
The availability to stand in at short notice and to be very flexible is essential. Availability of hours will be discussed at interview. Hours covered are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time, and so the shifts required could cover days, nights and weekends.
The King’s School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Applications including a CV and Covering letter, addressed to Tanya Lee, Deputy Head (Pastoral) should be submitted online, through the King’s School website, www.kings-school.co.uk.
For any further queries, or to request a paper application form, please contact HR on 01227 595733.
Closing date for Applications is Friday 6th November at Noon (but interviews will be carried out sooner in the case of good applications).
