Product Owner

The Position:
We are looking for a Product Owner to join our leadership team. As Product Owner, your primary objective will be for product success by ensuring the product developed creates value for clients and Tribe.
The Company:

Tribe support clients in managing digital performance and improving user experience. Tribe bridge the gap between business and technology teams by providing a common language, in depth analysis, intuitive reporting and comprehensive client support.
The Location:
Based in the historic city of Canterbury, Kent. Our office is 2 minutes from the town centre, bus station, 5 minutes from Canterbury East railway station and 15 minutes from Canterbury West railway station.

The Accountabilities:
You will define the scope of a product solution, decompose high level requirements into manageable tasks and prioritise those tasks.
You will ensure all stakeholder requirements are listed in product backlog, breakdown that backlog into stories with defined acceptance criteria and prioritise those stories according to highest benefit for client and Tribe
You will review of product backlog / stories with the Development Manager and support the Development manager with story clarification when required and in reviewing agile process to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will identify service enhancement opportunities by analysing service user data and meeting with clients.

Essential:
Leadership / people skills:
● Strong interpersonal skills, to enable effective communication with
■ Development Manager
■ Leadership team
■ Clients
● Effective communicator and active listener
■ able to assimilate client information to inform product evolution
● Analytical / logical skills
■ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a computer science or subject
■ Analytical skills and the ability to interpret information from numerous sources to prepare and present reports that include potential solutions to business problems
Desirable:
At least 2 years Product Owner or equivalent experience
Software engineering experience and knowledge of software methodologies
