Lead the training department at the fastest growing IT company in Kent
You'll be the first member of the training team, a department that is a top priority at Tribeca. We have ambitious growth plans and that's only achievable if we give our staff the opportunity to step up to new demands. The management team will give you the support you need to put in place the programmes we envision as a team, and you'll get the resources needed to put together and deliver presentations. We even have a dedicated training room in our head office, with a lab that includes servers and firewalls for practical learning. Your responsibilities will be to:
- Partner with senior IT engineers to design and deliver courses on networking and infrastructure
- Partner with the Service Delivery team to design and deliver training on new policy and procedure
- Deliver soft skills training to staff
- Deliver training on our software to new staff
Your first project will be to develop a 6 month training course designed for IT apprentices. The schedule has been prepared by our First Line team lead, and you'll work on developing the presentations and testing them ready for a Summer 2020 intake. Longer term, we want you to think about the learning and development strategy overall, and how we can improve our systems and process for the entire company.
An in-depth knowledge of IT is not required for this position, as our technical team can teach you what you need, though you'll need a keen interest to learn. You'll be confident presenting to adult groups, enthusiastic about the content you are delivering and communicate in a way that engages your audience. Knowledge of ITIL will benefit you, but is not required.
