BASIC SALARY £24,000 - £28,000 DOE + OTE + BONUS!
My client, is a busy workshop in Sittingbourne, who is looking for a fully qualified Vehicle Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with an employer who will provide further training and development for you. You must be confident and experienced enough to work unsupervised. An MOT licence would be desirable!
Key responsibilities:
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
Conduct routine maintenance work (servicing, brake pads and discs, exhausts etc) aiming to improve vehicle functionality and longevity.
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle use.
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job and keep the Service Team informed at all times.
Keep logs on work and issues.
Key requirements:
Hold a full, clean and valid UK driving licence
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician
MOT licence (desirable)
