This role involves soldering and assembling lighting products for customer sales orders. In this role, you will be responsible for several customer orders at one time. Kits will be picked and delivered to your bench from the storeroom. Duties will include: * Carrying out assembly work in a manufacturing environment * Mixing and filling electronic assemblies * Hand soldering wires to circuit boards * Cutting and prepping cables * Managing your own workload while reporting to a team leader * Testing products at various stages of assembly and identifying any problems to the team leader * Completing assemblies within the time constraints set. * Maintaining workshop cleanliness and safety The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical wiring and assembly with basic tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons and have the ability to read assembly and wiring drawings.
