Your new role Working within a small team, assisting with the production of accounts, and running the purchase ledger. - Process Supplier Invoices/Credit Notes, ensuring they are coded or matched to existing PO, authorised, checked, and posted to correct code and department, scanned, and uploaded to system, r ady for payment. - Process Freight Invoices following the process of charges assignment to relevant Purchase Orders. - Duty invoicing (HMRC) and allocation to relevant Purchase Orders. - Reconcile Suppliers' Statements requesting missing copies of invoices and resolving any pending queries. - Process expense claims, ensuring they are checked, authorised & coded, before accurately entering them onto the accounts systems (BC). Your new role * Processing supplier invoices/credit notes, ensu ing they are coded ot matched to existing PO. * Processing freight invoices following the process of charges assignment to relevant purchase orders. * Process stock invoices through receipt lines method. * Reconciling supplier statements requesting missing copies of invoices and resolving any queries. * Duty invoicing (HMRC) and allocation to relevant purchase orders. * Prepare aged creditors report on a monthly basis to monitor the outstanding supplier accounts. What you'll need to succeed * Good understanding of bookkeeping and office practice. * Previous experience in a similar accounts role. * Good MS Excel skills. * Familiar with modern IT based accounting system
