We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and capable Mechanical Assembly Operator to join our client's friendly Production team on a permanent basis. The company specialises in manufacturing high- quality products with innovative designs.

Working Monday-Thursday 08.00-16.45 and Friday 08.00-3.30, with an hour unpaid break.

Location: Medway Towns

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling a wide range of monitor displays and electronic assemblies.

You will work from detailed work instructions, photographs and diagrams, ensuring that all products are assembled accurately and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Assemble monitor displays and electronic assemblies
* Follow work instructions, photographs and technical diagrams
* Carry out mechanical assembly accurately and efficiently
* Ensure a consistently high level of quality across all work
* Work as part of a production team while also being able to use your own initiative
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
* Complete basic production and computer-based tasks as required

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Ideally, you will have:

* Experience assembling high-end electronic assemblies
* Good mechanical assembly skills
* Experience using hand tools
* The ability to read and follow work instructions, pictures and diagrams
* A strong attention for detail and a commitment to quality
* Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently

Soldering and wire looming experience would be an advantage, although full training will be available.
