An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team based in the Medway Towns. Initially offered on a temporary basis, however there is a possibility that this role could progress to a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent.
This role is ideal for someone with previous accounts experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Process sales and purchase orders using SAP
* Raise and process customer and supplier invoices
* Reconcile customer and supplier accounts
* Record bank transactions, expenses and multi-currency payments
* Assist with payment runs (BACS & TT)
* Resolve account queries and liaise with internal departments
* Produce aged debtor and creditor reports
* Support the wider finance team as required
About You
* Previous Accounts Assistant or similar finance experience
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to work accurately and meet deadlines
* Good communication skills
* SAP experience is advantageous but not essential
