The Junior King's School
From September 2026
37.5 hours per week, 36 weeks per year
Fixed term initially for one academic year
Based in the Kent countryside and close to the Cathedral city of Canterbury, Junior King’s is one of the most prestigious prep schools in the country. Within the heart of the school lies a strong sense of community.
We are seeking to appoint a highly organised Co-Curricular and Operations Co-ordinator to lead our vibrant programme. This is a newly established role, created following the retirement of a long-serving and much-valued member of staff, representing an exciting opportunity to shape and expand our co-curricular provision to meet the evolving needs and interests of our students.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a broad range of activities – including clubs, societies, trips, and events – ensuring that all pupils have access to an inclusive and well-balanced programme beyond the classroom. They will work closely with teaching and support staff to coordinate provision and promote high levels of participation and engagement across the school community.
We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Closing date for receipt of applications: Tuesday 9 June 2026.
Interviews of shortlisted candidates will take place w/c 15th June 2026. If you have any difficulties accessing the job portal, please contact our recruitment team on recruitment@kings-school.co.uk
Direct applications only. We are not accepting applications or CVs from recruitment agencies for this position.
The King’s School is committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We adopt a fair, robust and consistent recruitment process which is in line with the statutory Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. This includes online checks for shortlisted candidates.
All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.
