We are currently recruiting for an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Driver in the Medway Towns to join a busy warehouse operation. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable individual who thrives in a busy environment and is looking for ongoing work.
Requirements
* Valid, nationally accredited Forklift Licence (in date)
* Ideally hold both Reach and Counterbalance licences
* Candidates with Counterbalance licence only will also be considered
* Previous forklift driving experience
* Good level of numeracy and literacy
* Ability to complete paperwork accurately
* Strong awareness of health and safety practices
Key Responsibilities
* Operating Reach and/or Counterbalance forklifts
* Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
* Moving stock within a warehouse environment
* Supporting general warehouse duties as required
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
* Completing relevant documentation and paperwork
Shift Pattern
* 12-hour shifts
* Mixture of day and night shifts
* Rotating shift pattern (details provided upon application)
Additional Information
This is a temporary position, however there may be an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate.
