Overview

A funky, fresh and modern firm of accountants is on the lookout for their next top performer! With a very flexible working pattern, this firm really allows you to spread your wings without the micromanagement of a scary partner over your shoulder! A supporting and welcoming environment with training opportunities included.

The role is Monday - Friday with a hybrid working pattern.

Salary starts at £24,400 + benefits.

Duties

Managing bookkeeping activities across a varied client base
Handling VAT return preparation and submissions
Working alongside senior team members to build technical capability and progress towards responsibility for your own client portfolio
Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Acting as a point of contact for clients, helping to maintain strong relationships and a high standard of service
Providing day-to-day support to client managers with compliance requirements and ad-hoc queries
What we're looking for

A successful candidate will have circa 2-4yrs+ experience within a UK accountancy firm and live within a 45min commute.
