Groundwork Foreman - Residential Development
Location: Canterbury
Project: Groundworks Package - New Build Residential DevelopmentWe currently have a vacancy for an experienced Groundwork Foreman to oversee the groundworks package for a new-build residential development in Canterbury, starting in
August 2025.
This is a great opportunity to lead a skilled team on a high-quality housing project.
Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate groundwork teams on site
* Ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification
* Manage daily site activities including excavation, drainage, foundations, and external works
* Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience as a Groundwork Foreman on residential projects
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of groundworks processes including drainage, foundations, and site preparation
* SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications preferred
