A well-established and highly successful accountancy firm is on the lookout for a NEW Audit Senior to join their growing team! With a strong focus on sustainability, personal development and client care, this firm offers a unique opportunity to shape your own career path in a supportive and innovative environment. This varied and interesting job role keeps you on your toes with no two days the same! A range of different client sectors to look after will broaden your horizons to potentially new industry knowledge too!
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday) with a hybrid working structure.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion
Prepare audit work and review tasks completed by junior team members
Monitor workflow and communicate progress with clients and stakeholders
Research and resolve audit issues, escalating complex matters as needed
Prepare audit completion documentation including Going Concern assessments
Supervise, coach and develop junior staff
Maintain audit administration and ensure compliance requirements are met
Act as key point of contact for clients during fieldwork
Attend client meetings including planning, review and close-down sessions
Support business development activities including networking and pitches
What we're looking for
A successful candidate will ideally be qualified in ACA/ACCA but part-qualified applicants may still be considered. Only strong UK practice background with audit exposure can be considered for this role and you must live within a 1hr commute.
