We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Retail Trainer to lead the delivery of our vocational retail and employability training programmes. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in retail management and experience in training, coaching, or mentoring others.

 

About the Role

As a Retail Trainer, you will play a key role in preparing individuals for successful careers in retail. You will:

Deliver engaging training sessions both on- and off-site.
Represent The Learning Shop at promotional and outreach events.
Support Bluewater’s broader skills and employment initiatives.
Use your expertise in customer service, team leadership, and visual merchandising to deliver high-quality learning experiences.

We’re looking for a confident, adaptable professional who can:

Communicate effectively with diverse groups and adjust to different learning needs.
Remain resilient and empathetic, providing motivation and support to learners.
Maintain accurate records and meet sector-specific quality and compliance standards.

The Role:

 

Where you’ll work: This role is based at The Learning Shop inside Bluewater, however the nature of the work will require travel offsite as required.

 

Your hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum (1 FTE).

 

Your pay: £26,726 per annum.
