Senior VAT Consultant
Location: Edenbridge, Kent
Salary: £50,000+ plus bonus and benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about VAT, enjoys working with a wide range of clients, and has a flair for mentoring junior staff while delivering exceptional technical advice.
About the Role
As a Senior VAT Consultant, you will play a key role in managing complex VAT matters across various sectors including Healthcare, Construction, Charities, Education, Import & Export, and Family Offices. You’ll also take responsibility for overseeing compliance processes, developing internal systems, and contributing to business development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee VAT-related processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
Prioritise work effectively to meet internal and client deadlines
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and stakeholders
Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development
Review work prepared by junior staff to maintain high quality standards
Assist in developing templates and processes to streamline operations
Produce VAT audit reports and risk assessments for clients
Contribute to marketing and thought leadership efforts, including article writing and event presentations
Who they are looking For
ATT qualified with solid experience in VAT advisory and compliance
Confident communicator, both written and verbal
Strong leadership skills and a genuine interest in mentoring others
Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
Commercially aware with an ability to build and develop client relationships
Must hold a full UK driving licence (due to rural office location)
