Management Accountant - Canterbury

Status: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum DoE

A reputable organisation is seeking a Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to join their team in Canterbury. This role offers hybrid working opportunities and is a permanent, full-time position.

Your new role

* Oversight of month-end procedures and preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Preparing accruals/prepayments.
* Acting as a line manager to a Finance Assistant.
* Conducting control account reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
* Assisting budget managers with finance business partnering, including reviewing budgeted expenditure and income.
* Quality checking VAT returns.

What you'll need to succeed

* Be AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
* Have a good standard of secondary education, including a minimum of grade C in Maths and English GCSEs.
* Possess a general understanding of finance and ledger work.
* Be analytical with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Have credit control experience.
