The Best Connection are seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for one of our clients based in Dover. The role involves delivering chilled goods to RDC's. As a tramper driver, you’ll be required to stay out on the road overnight (tramping), ensuring timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely transport to locations across the UK.
Secure loads correctly to ensure safe transport.
Unload/load safely using a pallet truck
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients.
Ensure compliance with all UK driving regulations and company policies.
Complete paperwork accurately
What We Expect from you:
A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
Experience in tramping and driving fridges (not essential)
A strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and meeting delivery schedules.
Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.
Pay Rate- £15.50 - 16 per hour
