Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for Day Warehouse Operatives based in Aylesford, Maidstone
The role entails:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Manual Stock movement/ rotation
- Order Picking on pallets using a pedestrian pallet truck
- Working in a chilled environment of 2 degrees
- Some heavy lifting is involved
A successful candidate will have the following:
- Previous experience working in a chilled environment
- Holding a nationally accredited PPT certificate would be beneficial, but this is not essential as training will be provided
- Ability to work long shifts
Our client can offer 1 to 5 shifts per week and shifts are 07.00am to 7.00pm over a 7-day period with Sunday being the peak day.
Prior to commencing this role all candidates will have to complete our client’s basic assessment and once passed offers an immediate start with ongoing training available.
The rate of pay for this role:
- Basic: Monday to Friday - £12.50 per hour
- Overtime: Monday to Friday after 11 hours worked per shift - £15.00 per hour
- Saturday hours - £15.00 per hour
- Sunday and Bank holiday - £15.00 per hour
Pay is weekly through PAYE and holiday entitlement is paid in addition to the above rates.
