Holmbury Ltd are based in Tonbridge, Kent and have been supplying hydraulic components primarily to the construction industry for 40 years. We are a proud family business and a leading name in our industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Holmbury within the warehouse team as Quality Inspector. The ideal candidate would have prior experience working in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing firm.
Main duties performed will include but not limited to:
• To inspect and process all incoming products
• To ensure all manufactured parts are, where necessary, fully tested to meet customers’ requirements
• Examine, test and report on all faulty / returns / warranty items
• Responsible for the introduction and smooth running of the quality system consistent with our ISO9001/14001 requirements
• Maintain all records related to quality issues
• Quality questionnaires and anything relating to quality
• Assist both the Managers and Buyers in the assessment of new products and in maintaining the quality of existing ones
• Ensuring that our suppliers are kept abreast of any quality problems relating to their parts
• Work in the warehouse performing picking and packing duties as required
• Unloading and booking in of palletised shipments during goods inwards
• Any other duties as reasonably required
