Purchasing Assistant

Salary £24000 to £27000 depending on skills and knowledge. Monday to Friday 40 hour week - excellent benefits package offering a range of benefits including up to 10 extra days holiday and childcare benefits

Our established product supply company are looking for an experienced purchasing assistant to join their team. You will be joining an established company suppling products to a wide mix of retail and wholesale customers. Car owner driver due to location parking on site.

Required Experience


Experience using computer ERP systems and software to produce the purchase orders daily.Experience in a Purchasing environmentBeing able to identify when the opportunity to add value arises.Working in a busy friendly team offering a high level of customer service
Training on company products will be given so better support to the clients may be offered


Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.Attention to detail.Problem-solving and critical thinkingGood negotiation skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsCustomer service skillsYou will be working with retail and wholesales customers and negotiating with a variety of suppliers at all levels
