Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for Plant Operative to join our clients company based in Gravesend, Kent
This role is for a minimum of 3 months with the possibility of a temp to perm role after the qualifying period.
Our client will provide full training
The role entails
- Maintaining, servicing and cleaning down of all machinery
- Assisting with all parts of the production department
- Moving stock manually or with a forklift
- Complying with all Health and Safety regulations
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience
- Forklift Counterbalance Certificate, is not essential but would be beneficial
- Having a mechanical/production based background
- Being a problem solver and having the ability to use your own initiative
- The ability to work well as part of a team
The rate of pay
- £11.00 per hour + holiday pay (paid weekly).
- Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 06:00 hours to 16:00 with possibility of overtime during our clients peak trading.
